How the hell do I get rid of this?

Ive tried searching google for the answer, they tell me just to uninstall it in Add/Remove Programs, but its not there. "WildTangent Control Panel" shows up in my Control Panel. Ive ran AdAware 6 and Spybot. With ad aware, it found WildTangent, but when I removed them (and from the registry) it still showed up.

Am I missing something??

if that link doesnt work just go to the main page, to the faq section then to the unistall faq.

adaware may have only half removed it and thats why its not showing up, thats a common complaint with adaware, so you may have to reinstall wildtangent to get rid of it.

What is wildtangent, I have it, do I need it for anything?

WildTangent is a 3D gaming engine built for the web. It allows developers to build the games as stand-alone or as web-plugins. It works really well.

You only need it if you want to play games that require it.

Adaware and spybot should be able to remove them..

I used a combo of Ad-Aware, Spybot, and Spy-Sweeper to remove all traces of WIldTangent.
