Blackbox Windows Shell

took a search.. was only a couple posts about this.. nothing specific.. just wondering if anyone has had any problems with it.. is it easy to install.. just any info you have would be great.. im gettin sick of the standard explorer shell.. and the blackbox themes look very sweet..

http://www.bb4win.org/news.php Is nice.
Just like any other alt shell it's fairly easy to set up.
Config and such is much cleaner and straight foward than Litestep.

Yeah, I use and like it. Their screenshots don't seem to work so here's one of mine.

I've used bb4win before and yes, it was very easy of an install. The customization isn't anywhere near that of Litestep, but if you like the standard BB look then you're set. The main thing I like about BB is that it's just completely simple. No frills. Very minimal, and this is good.

I tried litestep a long time ago but it was kinda "crazy." I haven't tried an alternate wm for windows since then. Is bb4win easy to uninstall? Can you switch to the default shell, or does bb4win take over?

One of my favorite things about linux is the freedom to choose your wm. I hope this means we might see an enlightenment or a fluxbox for windows.

BB4win was very very very easy to install.. i was cautious with this cuz i had tried litestep before and it totally messed up my comp.. changing themes is simple.. if anyones thinkin of trying it.. id say definately go for it.. if you dont like it.. all ya have to do is click exit..

Blackbox looks cool but whats the deal with the styles? I can load different styles but it wont load the jpegs associated with them. Also, how do I set different backgrounds? I have tried just changing the extensions name of jpegs but it wont work. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to clear these questions up for me.

you need to put the pics in the background folder within the c:\blackbox folder.. that should be all you need to do
