Windows server 2003 SBE trial edition
I friend of mine told me that you can get a copy of Windows Server 2003 small business edition as a trial program and if you set the clock ahead by 40 years before you install it and then set it back when you are done that it will not expire. Anybody heard of this or is he just feeding me a line of BS?
I did search on the Microsoft site and found where you can get the software (yes for free). I tried something similar when they had the XP beta software and after a while it just quit working, plus it would not allow me to download the updates. What I really want to know is if I can tell him he is full of BS or not. Thanks for any info. |
I dunno about the setting the clock thing but I doubt it works. It gives you 6 months to eval the OS...half a year is pretty good for a free windows, especially the best version ever made. I run Enterprise tho.

I don't know about that but there are hacks for most MS trials... Got legal copies running here though......
I prefer the 2kenviroment better than 2003/xp though.... Running 2k pro here on the lappy and 2k adv svr for a desktop... |
