PHP 'Facebook' Module - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

I play an online game and I would like to create a 'facebook' where people can maintain profiles and pictures (with their own logins). I'd like the index to show an alphabetical list of people w/ thumbnails of the picture on their profile. It could also be sortable by nationality age etc...

does anybody know of a pre-built php / mysql module that does this? I can alter it a bit to meet my standards but things like the login / logout / register / pictures / thumbnails are not within my programming abilites.

I don't know of any modules that do specifically what you want. But if you're going to use PHP and mySQL, then PHPMyAdmin is just beautiful. It'll make development and db management a hell of a lot easier.

one thing which might work, would be to try to find free source for a PHP Forum...and remove the forum bit! That way you would have the user profiles and avatars and all the rest. Probably a stupid way to go about it.....
