Aluminum Wallpaper?
Looking for a link to a selection of brushed aluminum looking desktop wallpaper. I'm on a pc but like the simple but refined look of most Mac desktops. Have any links?

Try this one. I created this very quickly with Photoshop. Take notice of the right and left edges, they are a bit jagged. If you play around with your document size, you should be able to crop the bad stuff out.

Lewis - looks nice, but is a bit too dark and missing the bluish tinge i'd expect in 'aluminum'.
I've not much to offer, i used to have craploads of such things, but all i've found is this small, tileable image: http://members.lycos.co.uk/stiatothdutfp/img/steel3.jpg (i've another image from a metal txture cd, but i'm not sure if i can manage the necessary photoshopping. playing with it now..) |
