Woah! Freak Stuff...

So, I check my router logs.. I'm getting somewhere in the midst of 100 dropped packets per minute. My router logs are HUGE.

On top of that..

All my machines are 192.168.0.xx

I have SEVERAL entries in my router logs from 192.168.10.10 that is sendng pings of death to my router. Since you can't spoof internal IP's, I'm kinda lost...

I have updated my virus defs, scaned every inch of every drive on my entire network and have found NOTHING.

Number one, explain why I'm dropping so many packets from external sources...

Next, tell me how a I'm getting an internal IP trying to kill my router? Especially when it's not an IP I've assigned, and it's totally out of my subnet.

My Net:
2 desktops
1 server
1 lappy.

If I'm still dropping all these packets in an hour, I'm going to turn off the DSL modem overnight.

Well, the next morning I wake up and I see 50 dropped packets from 5 different IP's, every half hour (on the nose). I've resolved all of the IP's and they're owned in Amsterdam.

Anyone, Anyone?

I'd start off by disabling that IP from your router's firewall, and it might be a good idea to turn off DHCP and assign your IPs yourself if you don't have too many computers. Next, check for spyware. Maybe that'll take care of at least a couple of your problems. Let us know what happens next, this is kind of interesting.

it sounds like some sort of spyware, like Glytch said. I'd run every spyware/adware program known to man.
