lots of poster for computer geeks

You can order a 3-poster kit about computer security HERE from Micro$oft free of charge.
Now you won't get only 3 different posters but 25 of each. That makes a total of 75 posters :w00t:

Offer only for US and Canada

Ordered a kit to share with the office. Only way I can see them charging for shipping, since no CC info was taken, is by COD and that will just be declined.

I ordered as well, using a unique email address. If I start getting herbal viagra ads to that address, we'll know how Microsoft is paying for this.

if each poster weights 0.5 pound, then the total weight must be at least 38 pounds which makes a shipping cost of $25.43 to ship from the washington state to the east coast. this does not include the oversized package fee or any discount M$ gets.

crashoverride,
Half a pound for a poster seems a bit unreasonable. I've bought 4 x 6 foot posters that didn't quite weigh that much.

u r right just saw that the posters are only 10x14, not a lot bigger than a letter sized paper

expected it to be much bigger (like the nvidia one for example).

Just a shame that us brits can't join in the fun! Still, I've downloaded the PDF's...

There used to be a method whereby you could "forward mail" for free, even if it's to another country. Has the US post office got wise to this one yet? The UK one doesn't seem to have...
If not, any chance someone could "forward" me a set...?

Dear Eric,

Thank you for requesting the Microsoft Security Poster series. Due to unexpectedly high demand, each household will receive 15 posters so that we may accommodate as many requests as possible. Please allow 2-4 weeks for shipment. We apologize for the delay and thank you for your patience.

For immediate access to the poster images, Adobe Acrobat versions of these posters are available for free download at http://www.microsoft.com/education/?ID=SecurityPosters.

Thank you again for your order,
Microsoft Education Solutions Group

Actually, they are. I received an email from MS today that stated that due to overwhelming demand, they were only sending out 15 per person and to expect them within 2-4 weeks. I did, however, place my order some time ago.

Gone....

from the site:

"Due to high volumes of demand, the security posters are no longer available on request. However, Adobe Acrobat versions of each poster are still available for free download"

World's richest man can't afford to be giving away thousands of posters people! Posters cost money! Stamps cost money! If Bill gave everyone a poster he might only be worth 42 billion. And what if he fell even further, to 39.9 billion? Then Warren Buffett would be richest. Do you really want to be responsible for that?
