Mac Binary file on a PC - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

In my photo class we use macs, but at home I have a pc. I emailed myself a file and it showed up in my inbox as a mac binary file. I have tried to open this file using photoshop and other programs but it doesnt work. What sort of program do I need to download to open this file.

What kind of file was it when you used it at school? IIRC .bin files on the Mac are usually archives that can be opened with StuffIt Expander: http://www.stuffit.com/

Thanks secret that really did the trick. I am so jealous of you. You have superior computer knowledge and a knock out girlfriend. You are one lucky guy.

Sadly I'm not really THAT knowledgable - I just play around a lot. There are plenty of people on this forum with much more comp knowledge than I.
