Which LCD?

I've been negotiating between the Dell 1901FP LCD ($500) or Samsung Syncmaster 193V ($475). I am negotiating with two different sellers and after researching market prices I discovered they're both offering a really good deal. However, I don't know what important specs I should be looking for and which monitor is a better deal at the price?
__________

"Help.....?"

want a suprise? it's the same lcd panel. Samsung makes all dell lcds 18"+.
My personal advice is go for the dell if the samsung doesn't have dual input. If the samsumg does, and can swivle like the delll, choose it since dells aren't warranted for defect if not connected to a dell computer.

Get whichever one has DVI. It makes all the difference in the world.

faster response time since no Analog > Digital > analog conversion is needed like in a analog video card to analog lcd. DVI stays digital and has a crisper look when compared next to an analog lcd

Looks like the Syncmaster 193V doesn't have DVI....I guess I'm going with the 1901FP.....Not bad though, $25 more for DVI and an additional inch (viewing)....

.."Thanks for the advice"....

I have a Samsung 191T+ that worked for a few hours. It has been three weeks and they even sent the wrong replacement monitor Wednesday. Their customer service is horrible. Get the Dell.
The only bright spot in this nightmare from Samsung is that they don't have a replacement 191T+ so they are sending me a 213T. I suppose that makes up for the grief!

Well, after three weeks and stressing, I received the 213T from Samsung. Nice looking, nice base adjustments. What would make this really great would be if it would power up! Damn thing is broken out of the box. Here we go again.

BUY THE DELL!
