How do you burn a DVD in Nero and retain long filenames?

I just burnt my first DVD-R to start backing up my 15GBs of MP3s.

I unchecked the Joliet box, and selected ISO level 2, and left "loosen ISO restrictions" -or whatever it is- checked. Still, after the disc finished burning, all filenames are in all caps, with spaces replaced with underscores, and filenames are truncated. Is it possible to preserve those file names? |

I normally use Joliet, which works fine (I'm burning CDs). Are the filenames truncated at 8 characters (ISO 1) or 31 (ISO 2)? You can't go beyond 31 with ISO 2 as far as I know.
