My friend's friend found this website, figures it has to be a scam. As does he. And so do I. So what do you guys think?

Maybe, maybe not. I've never looked into or dealt with OEM software but it does stand to reason that it would be available somehow.

OEM software is good stuff (main problem is lack of manuals/box/support) but I was under the impression you had to buy hardware with it - ie it's supposed to be cheap to allow you to preinstall it on computers. So in this respect it looks slightly dodgy.

I dunno if it's a scam, but I sincerely doubt the legitimacy of the products and would stay away from it.

Yeah, Ill second that. Find the software elsewhere.

The testimonials are pretty funny too. My friend emailed the company to ask some questions, I doubt that he'll get a reply.


It does seem very dodgy...

I wouldn't buy anything off of it, that's for sure..
However, OEM software goes as low as you're able to purchase it along with a cheap mice, iirc.
