My Obsession spreads to MINI PC
this is a pretty cool MINI PC mod...it's not the fastest thing in the world, but it's still a really cool desktop.

glad to see its a cooper S too :) |
I think we may need to have an intervention for Cynthetiq.... ;)
:) maybe.... weird... i reached into my pocket and pulled out some MINI trading cards. I don't remember the dealer handing them to me...
thats awesome man, tho the power supply is kindof ugly in the back window
Oh, I get it...it's for use on the Information Superhighway!
Wow thats one hell of an mATX case job, is this a custom model? or like something 1:32, 1:16 we can convert?
:D |
get me one of a NASCAR racer, and I'm Sold! :)
rofl @ ART's comment. Wish I had me a mini pc to play with..
something you could purchase from www.yourminipc.com
That's so cool.
A few things I think would be really cool on this particular project: hook up the power and hard drive indicator lights (using white and amber LEDs) through the headlights to simulate headlights and turn signals. Set the system speaker (if applicable) to a horn sound for error messages and the like. Hehe I'm such a dork..... |
The VIA C3 processors and the mini-ATX boards are opening up a whole new world for PC's. People ought to stick these things in their kitchen and stuff. :)
Very nice work!
Any ideas if Linux distros will run on the hardware? What does the speed compare to (ie: P3 xxMHz, etc.)? |
wow, now i've officially seen everything.
I love this stuff...since I first robbed an emachine to build an mp3 player in the trunk of my car a couple of years ago....
here is a cool site for that sort of thing.....mostly dedicated to the mini-itx form factor....http://www.mini-itx.com/ |
