google groups

Hi all

Looking at the groups in google, they mention pictures and discuss them although I do not understand how they are posting them.

Is it case of they are not ie google group alt.fetish.
Mail dated 8 Nov form stop spam. Are they both visiting the website Fets.com. and viewing a picture.

To explain on work PC. TFP okay by agreement with those in power ,porn site = new job. So i can not check this out.

Thanks for any enlightenment

If that was a question, you might just want to re-read it and reformulate yourself. I have no idea what you're talking about.

Sorry all. Must be the excitment.

What I am trying to ask is are the people in the google group alt.fetish posting pictures that I can not see, or are they discussing a picture on a a web site.

The example is from google.co.uk, in the groups section.

alt.fetish is the group and as an example I was talking about the posting from a guy ? called stop spam dated the 8 Nov.

I can not check to see if there is a site called Fets.com where the picture is that they are talking about.

Hope this is clearer now.

From the Google Groups help pages:
Quote:

Google Groups contains the entire archive of Usenet discussion groups dating back to 1981. These discussions cover the full range of human discourse and provide a fascinating look at evolving viewpoints, debate and advice on every subject from politics to technology. Google's search feature enables users to access this wealth of information with the speed and efficiency of a Google web search, providing relevant results from a database containing more than 800 million posts.
You need to get into the actual Usenet newsgroups to find the binaries. Can't really help you with that one, but check with your internet provider for Usenet access.

google groups doesnt show any files attached to a message, your isp should have a usenet server that you can connect to in outlook express or other newsreader program.

LOL I was baffled at what you were trying to say myself.
Yeah just check with your isp and see how you can access newsgroups and then you'll have no problem subscribing the the one you want.

This should probably move to Tilted Computers. I guess. Sorta.

aphex140, go find a FAQ about Usenet News.

Peetster 11-13-2003 11:25 AM

It sounds more like a "how do I use use.net" question, so moved to Tilted Computers.

Call your ISP and tell them that you want to access use.net. There's probably a FAQ on their home page. It's not terribly difficult. Good luck.

There was a thread in here a couple of weeks back talking about good usenet providers. Look for it, there was some good info in it.
