Blog script recommendations, please?
 

Could someone recommend a good, free, and fairly easy to customize blog software script for use on my site. I know there are many out there, but some seem to require quite a vast amount of experience with PHP...

When i ran a blog it was first with blogger then with MovableType 2.2.
MoveableType really is the way to go and is considered one of the best both for it's "customizability" and it robust performance in high traffic conditions.
If your not ready for something like that yet, perhaps good ol' blogger is the way to go. that's was still free last time i checked.

Definitely another vote for MT. Theres too much good stuff out there already written for it.

Movable Type. No doubt about it.

I've been using Blogger since I started blogging. Over a year or so now and still does what I want it to. I highly reccommend it.

This thread got me thinking, and i realized i was blogging in 1999-2002. When did every one here start to blogg?

I think it was a couple of years ago, early 2001. Then I kind of abandonded it, and started in the summer of 2002 again.

I've seen some people that have been blogging for ages. I guess I'm just a bandwagoner :P
