Too small for me. Looks like something a chic would want. |
No thanks. I'll keep my big-ass beige tower. It's big, has many noisy fans, and it would eat a "Cubit" for breakfast.
|
soo cute!
i would like one of those in the kitchen with a flat panel screen to pull receipes off a database, or do some "googlecooking" or use as a multimedia server, but not for my main pc. |

looks ugly as HELL. |

i gotta clarify - i wouldn't use it for my main PC... /me huggles her self-built tower :D but for novelty's sake, it's damn cute! :p @ Ashton - love the photoshop :) |
Not a fan of them.. like SiN said, for novelty's sake.
Nice photoshop Ashton.. didn't take too long either! |

too small, no room for expansion, expensive, whats the point? Its not hard to find a good looking mid tower case, and my desk has room for a mid tower, so why not? If i was that stressed for space I would get rids of something else before getting a tiny comp. If i wanted something portable, I would buy a laptop.
|
waaay too small, would be nice for some kind of a custo application i am not sure what that would be but not my idea of an everyday user.
|
I dont like them really, sorry. Upgrading would just be a nightmare. Then there's the heating issues. Those would be good to be like a music player hooked up to your home theatre though.

damhna, you have just identified one of my life goals: to own one of these things :D  |
Nice comp, but i feel a certain gratification knowing i can build and destroy my comp at will! I mean, who dosnt like troubleshooting for a week because you get file copy errors, and have it end up being a shitty IDE cable?

Those cases are pretty sick lookin. I might think about about gettin one if there less then 300.... hmm.... and that vapochill with the crazy specs would be a dream come true.
|
o heck i'll pass on that small thing for me, i like being able to add a hard drive or a cd drive if i need to and also why have a little thing wit like 0 mod room???? now who dosent love to mod the crap out of your cases if your a good geek?

Here's one of my friends computers.
Specs: Epia 800mhz mobo/cpu built in audio/video 384mb PC133 30GB HDD 7200rpm 24x external (modded internally) CDRW (functions at 4x till I get a new epia board.....mine only has usb1). Left fang: opens cdrom Right fang: turns on computer http://www.boomspeed.com/mrcactus/spidercase1.jpg http://www.boomspeed.com/mrcactus/spidercase2.jpg http://www.boomspeed.com/mrcactus/spidercase3.jpg http://www.boomspeed.com/mrcactus/spidercase4.jpg http://www.boomspeed.com/mrcactus/spidercase5.jpg Edit: I uploaded the pics to my hosting space to rid us of the annoying "Remote linking forbidden" picture. This case is too cool to not show people. -MSD |
I am a fan of small form factor. I have to move around alot and it's nice not to have to carry a 40 pound PC along with my 80 pound monitor... For those of us who can't afford to play games small form factor is definitely worth the minimal price. If I need expansion I have my 600Mhz linux box which has 5 or 6 PCI slots, 5 drives (room for two more), and no monitor. Everyone should have a spare linux box in a closet.
|
It looks great, specs nothing special, but I think it's a bit to expensive.
|
If it doesn't look like a computer, I probably don't want it. That cubit just makes me think I'd toss it aside forgeting what it was...
