I just formated a freinds computer, but windows did not detect its network driver. its a hp pavilion 742n desktop PC. Ive turned this internet upside down, and im just looking for the driver for this model. Its built into the motherboard, and i cant tell what kind it is.

1) Go to http://www.hewlettpackard.com
2) Click on "Support and Drivers"
3) Enter "742n" (no quotes) in the search box. Click on the "Download Drivers and software" radio button above the search box.
4) Click on "Microsoft Windows XP"
5) ...

crap... I'll keep looking. :(
