Launching the wrong browser
Even though IE is set as the default browser. Everytime the boss clicks on a link in Outlook, Netscape starts up.
I have set IE to check and make sure it is the default browser then restarted it but nothing happened. (indicating IE is already the default) |
i bet the html file type is set for netscape as the default. open my computer, click the Tools menu, then Folder Options, then File Types, then look for the html file type, and see if it's set to netscape, if it is, then you can tell it to open with internet explorer by telling it to use iexplore.exe to open the html files.

Your suggestion was part of the solution. Even after setting HTM and HTML file types to Internet Explorer the problem still persisted. So I went back and changed everything associated to Netscape to Internet Explorer and it works great now. Thanks again. |
