Does anyone know how to take a screenshot of a paused mpeg or avi video? Is it possible with Divx or Media Player? I've just been trying the printscreen method, put everytime I paste the picture the screenshot of the mpeg is blank. I think some other program is needed but I'm not sure which.

I've had this problem. I solved it by opening the video in Winamp and turning "Use Image Overlay" (or something like that) off in the video preferences.

BSplayer.... It has the functionality built in and is a quality player.

or turn of hardware acceleration in your player before you take the screenshot - that will allow you to take a proper screenshot as well.
