My friend gave me a free Intel webcam yesterday and I want to set up a webcam on my web server. Can anyone recommend any free software that will help me do this?

try one called boorucam.

its small and no install is necessary.

Thanks but how do I get a video feed onto my web server?

use windows media encoder, it'll allow you to stream audio and video.
