i wanna know what each person browser opens to when they get on the net and any special reason why Mine is one of 2 i go back and forth, either the TFP :) or slashdot |

usually the opera forums page on both Opera 6.x/7 and Moz - some of my other systems have my own woeful looking pages as the start page.

Mine is set to excite.com because I use their free email service and can personalize my settings to show miscellaneous things such as news headlines, the weather forecast, my horoscope, quote of the day, today in history, etc. Pretty nifty, but it takes a while to load.

about:blank all the way. I like the speed at which it ... ah fuck it, I'm just too lazy to always want to go to the same page, so it's easier for me to load a blank page and decide from there, rather than always loading Google or something else.

Another vote for about:blank (or the corresponding thing for whatever browser I'm using).
I'm a web developer, so I've usually got at least half a dozen sites up on my screen at once. It would be a REAL pain to load msn.com or something every time I cracked a fresh browser window. |

I made my own home page that is nothing but 2 text boxes, a button, and links. Link name, link url, and submit :) I keep all my frequent/fav/bill pay sites listed there.
//edit: I did this cause I am at so many computers between my house and work and syncing bookmarks is not fun when I can just load a page. |
