I had to reload my 2nd system, and in the process upgraded to Win XP and said screw my old HP recovery disk, but I cant find the DVD software off the recovery disk.

Does anyone know a download-able DVD player that I dont have to pay?

HP had it as a seperate disk, not on the recovery disk. I don' t know of any free ones that are worth much. Most people will say PowerDVD, which isn't free

I saw the PowerDVD which looks great but I dont use it much as a Player to "buy" anything. As far as the HP disk, if thats true no tellin where its at...lol

PowerDVD is one of the best DVD Players. I got it free with my DVD-ROM drive. If you are looking for a DVD program I recommend that one.

windows media player 9 has one built in.... it's free.

VideoLan. Also grab the ACE Mega Codec pack. Combine those two, and there's nothing you can't play.
