				What web browser?
I am just curious as to what people use for browsing the web... I used to use IE6 but about 2 months ago switched over to Opera 7 for tabbed browsing. I actually prefer Opera now (with the IE6 skin ). I just wanted to know what the people of TFP use... |

| Stop. Think. Question. Location: Redondo Beach, CA | I use IE 6 because it's bundled with Windows. I hate having multiple copies of that same type of software on my PC so I'll make due with IE. I've got it pretty well locked down compared to the default install. I'd probably use Safari on the Mac if I bothered to spend the 10.3 upgrade money. As for Linux, prob go with a flavor of Mozilla because that's what people tell me to use.

| Addict Location: Ottawa, ON, Canada | I alternate between Netscape 7.0 and Internet Explorer 6. It depends on where I'm surfing. I prefer to work with Netscape, but it just seems like there are times when Internet Explorer works better.

| Junkie Location: Pa, USA | I love Opera, but am also giving Mozilla and Firebird a shot. It wil be hard to pull me away from Opera though, as it just seems to have a lot of great features, tabbed browsing, and I love the mouse gestures.

| Junkie Location: RI | Been usin Mozilla for awhile now, ever since I fried windows on this computer, and linux was the only thing to work. Had a decent time with it so far. Kinda miss the quickness of the load, but it still is nice being able to say, hey, least I'm not usin windows. |

| Über-Rookie Location: No longer, D.C | Netscape 7.02 is nice (don't go anything earlier) -tabbed browsing -popup killers I know mozilla has the same things, but I have been a netscape fan ever since Netscape 2.0 (although they almost lost me with Netscape6... eww) however, fi I am just looking for a quick tidbit of information (text), then I generally go with lynx. Nothing like the speed of good ol' text browsers!

| Banned Location: no trees, fields of wheat | Bow to the Red Dinosaur! Mozilla to the masses! I've used Netscape 2.02, 4.5, and 4.7. Netscape 6 and 7 sucked the turkey's nuts, so I used IE for a while. Now I use Mozilla, and love it! Last edited by spankthru; 04-24-2003 at 09:13 PM.. |
