Another reason to HATE Apple.

Hi all.

I love my 4th gen iPod Touch. It's a great gizmo.

Here's the problem: I had my Touch/iTunes linked to a debit card, and I BOUGHT several apps. I have moved to another state recently. The bank I was with has no branches here so I cancelled my accounts and got new accounts here. Since the account that iTunes has is now cancelled I can't use the apps that I paid for. Yes, I know, get on my knees and blow Jobs, update my card info, etc. Whatever.

I am done with Apple.

Are the apps subscription based or one time purchases?

I've changed credit cards on my iTunes account 3 times.

I started with an iPhone 3 on the Pc.

I've formatted twice and recently built a new PC and the family now has 2-3's, 1-4, 2-touch, and 2-pads and have never had a problem accessing any of my apps.
Once you buy them they are linked to the iTunes account, not the card.
Whatever your problem is, it isn't apple...

my one time purchases I've moved from ipod to ipod and swapped credit cards I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about at all.

Yeah, this makes no sense. That's the whole point of the account attached to your iTunes is to be able to use it on any device attached to it. I've switched debit/cards more than once and have had no problems. You seem to just be looking for excuses. It's obviously not Apple. This is coming from someone who is in no way a proponent of Apple.

Have you actually even tried putting your new card info in your iTunes?

Edit: and to think, I came into this thread ready to agree with you about something to hate on Apple about.
