Need a way of writing on the desktop background.
I've been looking for a program that lets me write on the desktop background for XP but haven't had any luck yet. I need it to make notes and reminders. Does anybody know of such a program?

Well, I hate to do this but did you try google?
Lots of results, I've never used any of them (my PDA never leaves my pocket) but it looks like there is probably something out there that'll fit your needs. I like the looks of this one: http://www.dtbits.com/dtnotes/ . Let us know what you decide on! |
If your pc can handle it make your background active desktop. Then you can define it as web pages etc and have it display anything you like.

ever heard of scratch paper?
|
This is why my monitor case is covered with assorted post-it notes. :D
|
yeah, post it notes come in varied colours too
make your screen look like the 'strip' =) |
What is this thing "paper" everybodys talking about? =) No realy I tried google but what I'm looking for is a program that allows me to edit the desktop background in realtime without opening it in photoshop.
And samurize was a cool program by the way. |

I like stickies - http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Horizon/2691/
But I think it's a bit of a memory hog! |
for mac humpers like tikki, how about the stickies that come w/ the system. ;) they're even multi-colored! WEE! ;)
As for what you're lookin' for... i've never heard of a thing about it. sorry! My solution for this problem is I open text pad, write myself notes, and save them in random places. always a surprise! ;) |
