XBMC Question
Heh..finally got around to installing it after seeing all the positive press on it.
One thing that is getting to me..is it me or is there no "scrub bar" or way to skip to a certain point in the video? Seems like a pretty basic feature. |
Might depend on skin. I just click in the little bar and move around fine. Sorry I don't have a way to get screenshots right now, as it won't run remotely.

Are you actually running it on an XBox? I am. I navigate around within a piece of content with the left thumb-pad. Left and right are small jumps, up and down are big jumps.

Sorry, should have clarified..I'm running it on a PC. Let me see if there's a different skin...running the latest build.

Use the directional keys. (up/down = 10 min jump on my test video. Left/right should give smaller increments)

ratbastid, I haven't updated my XBMC in years so these options may have changed, but try out the triggers for differing FF/RW speeds and the right thumbstick for skipping really really fast.
Oh, and the back button for an 8 second RW. |
If you move your mouse while the video is running it should bring up a navigation frame, or you can also use Up/Down for large increments (usually chapters in dvd files) or Left/Right for just jumping backwards/forwards a few minutes.
