Sending files from windows 7 to windows nt workstation
I need some tips or maybe a link explaining how to get this to work. I need to send files on a daily basis from my windows 7 computer to my windows nt computer. But I cant seem to get it to work. I can see the nt computer on the 7 computer but It wont let me log onto it. Always asks for a username and password. I use the username and password for the nt computer and it does not work. Any tips would be great.

| Paladin of the Palate Location: Redneckville, NC | You might have to make a user on the NT machine and use that login/password to gain access to any shared drives on the PC. I don't know tho, I have never worked on windows NT, I was 11 when NT came out. Try adding a user and see where that gets you. |

| Broken Arrow Location: US | You may have to enable legacy SMB for this one to work, if possible. I'd google that one.

| Insane Location: at home | You might have to put the name of the NT (New Technology :-) machine in front of the user name (like ntpc\ntuser) . Did you share out the drive/folder on the NT machine and set the permissions. It can also be the access permissions (accesss this computer from network). Best of luck.
