				New PC

There's an offer going around for a new setup that my aunt would like to buy, and apparently I'm the only one that "knows about computers".

Unfortunately, I've stopped paying much interest in hardware since about 2 years, and as such am almost as clueless as she is. Most important part: # Intel® Core™ 2 Quad Q 8200 processor (2,33 GHz, 4 MB L2 Cache, 1333 MHz FSB) # 4 GB DDR2 RAM werkgeheugen # NVIDIA® GEFORCE® 9600 GT videokaart (512 MB GDDR3, HDMI-aansluiting, DirectX®10 en HDCP-ondersteuning) My cousin plays WoW and started to play Warhammer Online as well. I would think that for games like that, this setup should more than cover it. However, does anybody have any idea how it might fare when up against more resource-greedy games? Thanks for any input in each case ![]()

Looks good. I would switch the quadcore out for an equal-priced dual core (a Wolfdale) since not all games benefit from quadcore technology right now. You could also spend $30 more and get a GeForce 8800 GT or 9800 GT (same card) and get a huge power increase from the 9600 GT (though the 9600 GT would be fine).

Agreed with Lasereth, I'd probably get the 9800 GT for a few extra bucks just so it's more futureproof.
