keylogger
my family is having some problems with a teenage sibling of mine, and lets just say, i need a good keylogger.
the less noticeable, the better. any suggestions? |
msn? gtalk? or for other reasons? because you know that msn will keep logs right? gtalk also places all the chat logs online.
If you're looking for a legit and safe keylogger, then I have nothing really to offer. |
Really do need to know a little more. Most chat programs have some sort of chat log ability. But just on a quick search of download.com i found this Actual Keylogger - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com Never used it Dont know how well it works but its free and download.com seems to be a fairly safe site.
that being said... If its a teenage sibling i say give them the privacy they want. let them download the porn or whatever. If they are really getting into serious trouble.. IE hacking or something destructive a keylogger might not be the best answer. Keep in mind most kids that are over protected and kept on a short leash turn out to be some of the wildest adults. Ever met a preachers daughter? They always know how to have a good time or how to cause trouble. |

is that destructive enough? the only way we(family and police) were able to track her down is because she left her myspace password on the pc, and her myspace had all the plans on it. i know, this is an invasion of privacy, but i dont really want to see her ruin her life and fuck up in the same ways i did. before this goes a direction i dont want it to go in, we are handling it the legal way. i just need a good keylogger |
Ah well in that case... shoot the guy in the crotch. Get him arrested for doing nasty things with a minor and then slap some sense into her. Then hope hes thrown in prison and made to be some large freaks bitch. Almost forgot how self destructive teenage girls can get.

Seriously, I'd buy a hardware keylogger. It will only catch her side of the conversation, but it's undetectible and hardware.

I have to agree if you dont mind spending a bit of money hardware would be better. but its also something that she might find and be able to remove depending on how tech savy she is.
|
If you're worried about that, "break" your existing keyboard and buy the keyboard with it built in.

i was hoping for some software, but i think we might have to go with hardware.
this whole situation is quieting down. the guy she was with is scared shitless thanks to some "persuasion." hopefully i wont need to shell out the cash for the hardware...but i probably will just to be on the safe side. thanks so far guys. |
