I HATE CSS: Help me out
Dialog Box Test <-- I suck
This is my test page. I'm basically adapting a CSS tutorial on dialog bubbles to something that resembles a menu. I'm trying to do 2 things here: 1. I am trying to create a fixed height for each bubble. So far I've only been able to adjust the height based on the content. 2. I am trying to format the content within the bubble so that a 50x50 thumbnail appears on the left, with left-justified text to the right of it. I want to say that I can get this done in 2 minutes with TABLES, but noooo everyone wants to use CSS these days. Well fuck CSS. Its a horrible standard with convoluted methods of content organization. It needs some serious revision or a complete replacement. In the meantime, I appreciate any help I can get.

You could do table parameters in CSS, right?
I'm no expert, but I reverse-engineer everything. I would say if you know a site that has an example, use the web developer extension in FF and get any info you like on the formating, CSS etc. For instance, on my site: Code:
/* table inside the the td that holds the block title */
.blockhead {
color: #FFF;
font-size: 10px;
font-weight: bold;
text-align: left;
height: 25px;
width: 162px;
}
.blockheadbg {
width: 162px;
background: #242424 url(../images/BlockHeadBG.jpg);
}
/* table that holds the content in blocks */
.blockcontent {
width: 152px;
border: 1px solid #000;
padding: 4px;
background: #2C2C2C;
}
