Hi,I've got Microsoft Word,had it ages and used it to put stuff in my documents.But all of a sudden my 'Word' won't open,and also I can't view text I've saved in 'word' in my documents.Normally everything just opens but all I get now is this box which says:Windows Installer,and the feature i want is on a network unavailable, then at bottom of box it says, 'msxml5.msp, installation package.
I've tried system restore back 6 months but no good.Anyone help? Thanks

Open Office will open your MS Word documents, I don't really know a solution to your problem with Word, but Open Office is at least an interim solution to the problem.

Put in your Ofice cd and check the Repair Install option, and away you go.

without the CD there is little you can do to repair the situation.

the offers that have been made are reasonable workarounds to allow you to open a document that you need to work on now.

a long term solution is you getting a CD and reinstalling word.

Yep, if you don't want to use the suggestions here, getting a cd and reinstalling word is the only long term solution.

Here's Office at ebay if you're interested, other than using one of the suggestions above, I'm at a loss.
