Does it happen when you use Internet Explorer ? Or Firefox ? The AOL client is so unpredictable as to when it will throw an error.
|
I don't use Internet explorer, unless i have too and I don't have firefox. And I should point out that I don't use AOL except to check my mail but my wife does regularly and she is the one that first noticed this problem. I use the SBC Yahoo.

Opera is a bit lazy about complying with W3C standards. Safari is relatively new to Windows and doesn't have a Linux port (thus being unavailable to me 95% of the time). Firefox 2.0.0.12 is my preferred browser. AOL's software is crap. Any of these will be five steps up. |
OMG, you need to try Safari for Windows! It's like Firefox, except it doesn't slow down after a few hours.

There's something about the Safari interface I don't like. I use Firefox in both XP and OS X. I might like the next version of Safari. It doesn't seem quite there yet. I don't know what it is. |

Sorry Will, never will want to use another mac product again.
I am going to give the go ahead on Opera and Firefox. Depending on your internet usage, you might like Flock. Flock click to show Periodically check out this TFP thread for Freeware. I have my own list in it too, because I don't use time wisely. |
Anyone have any iders to my problem? I seem to recall having this same problem a few years ago and it being some kind of setting problem, I had something checked that shouldn't have been, that sort of thing.
As for a different browser I don't want to try one until I get this figured out. |
