Recovering deleted files

Recently I accidentaly deleted RecordNow, my CD burning application on my hp pavilion. Does anyone know how to get this back?

if you got a disc when you bought the pc, look on it. it should have the program.

I forgot to mention, my computer didn't come with any cd whatsoever. It does have a recovery drive, but it doesn't appear to contain anything.

Location: 'bout 2 feet from my iMac
it comes w/ a recovery disk, right? boot off of that, and chose to recover without reformatting. BACK UP FIRST, SO IF IT FUCKS UP YOU DON'T LOSE YOUR STUFF!!!! This should put all the stuff that was on there to start, back.

If you deleted without clearing out your recycle bin, it MAY still be there. Go in there and check it out. you might be able to right click > recover it.

If you have XP, use System Restore.
I think that recovers programs.

It should be in Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

That will only work if you botherd to make a restore point to begin with.

or just get a new program to burn cd's (there's a freeware @ downloads.com)
