i just bought my first mac and have a question. i want to copy my music concert dvds to my computer so that i can load them onto the ipod....only problem is....i don't know how! do i need a special program to do this? i've searched on my computer for a way to do this, but didn't find anything. any help would be appreciated...thanks!

Handbrake should be all you need. I've never used the mac version but the Windows version is the most solid of all DVD to iPod programs I've used.
Oh, and it's free. |
I've got HandBrake on my hard drive, but I don't remember downloading it or ever using it. I can't speak to the quality without testing it.

I'm ripping Knocked Up to test the dvd quality. I'll update this post in a little while. |

The Handbrake Works Great!!!! Thanks Dude!!!!!! |
MacTheRipper for DVD decrypt then Popcorn or ffmpegX for conversion :)
|
Use Mactheripper to rip dvd to hdd, then use VisualHub to convert to desired format. Couldn't be simpler.

I too have used Handbrake for Mac. Works great.
