The GSM Mosquito

I would like to try to find a solution to the GSM mosquito problem. That is, the occasional annoying buzz that comes over your speakers when in close proximity to a GSM-based cellular device (such as a blackberry). It's about to drive me crazy. Any solutions or suggestions (aside from getting rid of my blackberry, that is)?

Do you have Cingular or T-Mobile? I ask because I have been told that it occurs mostly in the 850MHz band, which Cingular uses in many places; T-Mobile's entire network is 1900MHz (they use 850MHz only when roaming). (I could have sworn that I experienced it on T-Mobile also, but I haven't used T-Mobile in a while.) I know that I did experience it with Cingular, though.

It's a Cingular BlackBerry 8700c.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Cingular uses the 850MHz band in many places and according to technicians I have spoken to that exasperates the problem. I think the only way to rid yourself of it is either to rid yourself of Cingular or go CDMA.
