Mouse problems

I have a mouse and i'd like to get my scroll back especialy for webpages. the double click doesnt work anymore for the scroll and neither for opening a new link in firefox. the problem is that i installed the logitech drivers for my new wireless mouseman. and now that i removed the mouse, my old one doesnt work either. so i'm really pissed off that the logitech drivers dont work.

is there a way to remove the logitech drivers? they're not in the add/remove programs and they're not removable in the logitech software.

any ideas what i should do?

if you plug in the wireless one again it should show up in the hardware explorer thing under control panel->system->hardware tab

then you should be able to rightclick it and get properties
then uninstall driver

also in control panel under mouse on the more advanced mice there should be button settings, might try messing around there also.

ok, that did nothing. i'm sure someone here can tell me how to get the nice scrolling back in my webpages! right now it's all messed up. it either doesnt work or it's the universal one that looks like shit and skips instead of scroling nicely.

i think the last mouse(logitech 2button 1 scroll optical cord) i had just used the microsoft drivers since thats what i had before. and it was working really nice. now that i try to install a logitech mouse with drivers, now it took over the previous mouse so neither work proprely. and i was unable to remove the drivers up to now...

ok, maybe this will be more info: you know in firefox, when you want to open a link in a new tab, you can use the scrollwheel's click and that works so well. how can i get that option back?! it's really killing me that i cant do what i was doing before.

ALLRIGHT! ok, to make everything go back to normal, i set the middle mouse button scroll wheel to MIDDLE BUTTON. and that fixed everything! yay!
