Smoothing Low-fps Video
I was just wondering if there was a program out there that smoothed out choppy (low-fps) video clips. I have a video clip that runs at around 14 fps (since it was made from a digital camera, not a camcorder tape) and I wanted to make it around 24 to 30 fps to smooth out the video, if possible. (Running Windows XP, video file in .wmv format)
Thanks in advance. |
Virtual dubmod can alter frame rates, it will take an average of the 2 frames and make an intermittent frame.

thanks, but when i tried to load it into virtualdubmod, it said the format wasn't supported because of some copyright infringement reasons.... anything else? :)

Well that means it’s in a Mictrosoft format, copy written by Microsoft. I don’t think I am allowed to help you break copywriter on these forums, so read the error carefully and think about what it says.

Find a converter. Converting from WMV is not illegal, no matter how much Microsoft or the RIAssholeA tells you. Just rip it to a different format and try again. :)
