Board - initial slowness
 

I'm not sure if it's just for me, but whenever I first enter the board, it's pretty slow (like it takes about 10-15 seconds). Once I'm in, it's fine, it's just when I first click on it (it's in my favorites). Maybe it's just something screwy on my end, but I wanted to see if anyone else has noticed the same thing.

If you read throught the post on the first page the speed issue is mentioned. They are working on getting it fixed.

Front page is a little bit slower than the rest of the site since it shows you a load of information in one pages (read: lot's of queries to db).

Thanks Sty, that makes sense...sort of :) I changed my favorites link to the forums page and it works fine now. I didn't realize all the behind-the-scenes stuff going on in the front page!
