Posting Pictures

I cant for the life of me figure out how to post a picture in a thread.. I see the IMG button but dont know how to go from there if thats how.. Can anyone help?

questions:

is it an image that you're trying to post from your hard drive, or an image that is hosted somewhere online?

what forum are you attempting to post an image to?

what is the airspeed of an unladen swallow?

It is a image from my hard drive or cd . I wanted to post a cool nude pick on the t-board ..

The t-board does not allow images to be uploaded. You will need to find a place on the web to host your picture. Then you can use the IMG button/tags to link to the picute.

Check out this threads for more info on linking from MSN (they're free):

It looks like MSN got wise to people hotlinking to their pictures. For the most part I've seen MSN pictures just rex, at least all the ones I've run into across the board.

Can anyone still advocate this method?

superman still shows up in the above thread, so it's still working fine for me. where did you get this info about MSN closing off their servers from hotlinking?

oldtimer 06-06-2004 11:27 AM

It must just be that some people do not renew membership after they start an MSN group and it gets no activity. But I could've sworn running into a couple pictures throughout threads [I want to say Tilted Portraits/Exhibition] where they rexed and the pictures had been posted recently.

Just so I know, do you visit and add pictures to your MSN group frequently?

i've let it sit dormant for up to 4-5 months with no logins, and it hasn't failed me yet.

oldtimer 06-06-2004 06:21 PM

 Wow! That's just plain awesome.

Though, if I run into more MSN pics that seem to rex I'll give ya a pm to see what I'm talking about. If inactivity is not the case they could just be linking to them wrong.

phredgreen 06-06-2004 08:05 PM

definitely do that. i won't deny that msn can be picky and sometimes spotty, but it hasn't failed me yet.
