post count stuck
 

my post count has been stuck at 208 for a while and i'm wondering if there's been a freeze or something on my account. if so what do i need to do to unfreeze my post count going up? if not, and there's some bug on me, can i help to swat it?

um looks like i have 209 now, does that mean that you guys changed post counts to include threads? what's the criteria on this post count thing, i just want a neat avatar :P

210 now, so posts inside the titty board do not count towards the post count but those outside do? is that the case?

Posts in the TB and in Nonsense dont count towards the count. I dont know if there are any other forums that dont count though...

I don't think that's accurate unless they devised a way of letting thread starters receive credit. After all, their contributions have meaning.

It is accurate. We would like to give credit to post starters, but we can't as far as I know. Posts in Nonsense and TB don't add to your totals.

I see. That was my underlying feeling.

When did this change? I just posted a new set as a test and it's correct. starting a post in TB doesn't add to post count despite contributing material to the community:(

Any plans to figure a way to give credit to post starters only? Post count kind of looses meaning after you have the avatar and title of choice, but it kind of serves to motivate newer members to post. Knowing that new material in the TB and Wayside add to post count may help since those boards go through stagnation periods.

We are after all dependent on new members to add fresh ideas and content to our ever changing discussions...;)
