 temporary ban...

okay im still on 56k. im going to get cable but i have to wait on a contract to finish because of a rebate. anyways for the past couple nights when im surfing tfp and i look at a thread with many pictures, it would download the pictures (of course taking a long time!) but then after a while it would say it cannot connect to host! i try to reload and it cannot even get to tfproject.org. anything with tfp! other web pages work though.. so whats going on.. is it like a temporary ban? cause i can go on tfp the next day (like right now)
im using firefox .08. i even tried using IE and still the samething. tried turning off the comp same thing. |

Have you tried restarting Firefox? There's a bug in Firefox (which they are working on - remember, Firefox is technicaly only beta as it's not 1.0 yet) that makes it, well, have problems if you view something that uses a lot of memory, such as a thread with a lot of pictures. Restarting Firefox will fix the problem.

AAHHHH, I see, this is happening around 12. That explains everything.
We recently had a little issue that caused the server to mess up around midnight (Pacific). And, remember, we don't have a slave watching it to fix it immediately when it happens ;) :p I believe it's fixed now. |
