my isp recommended putting nospam in my email address on bulletin boards to prevent being spammed. I did that to my user cp here on TFP and now I can see the menu but can't post.

Does TFP have a policy that stops users using this technique, if so can a mod change my cp email back to original please

i'm hurt that you would suspect the tfp of trying to send you spam, so you thought to change your email address :(

As far as it goes, though, we dont make changes to accounts unless the request is made directly from the account.

Not worried about TFP, its the lurkers and scammers that I was trying to avoid..

as you can see from my posts, I enjoy and participate in the community in areas of interest to me....I have been with you for a very long time (pre V3.0)

I was on another vBulletin board that hadn't secured themselves correctly, and received spam from data harveters. No problems with TFP, they set things up well here.

I've never had a problem with receiving spam from TFP or anyone getting my email address from here.
