I didn't see a sticky or a admin blog post or a sign-in pop up detailing why this annoying-but-probably-necessary feature suddenly appeared.

Is it for everybody or just me? I'd like to think just me because otherwise these threads are gonna go in the toilet if WillRavel has to wait for approval to make fun of me.
