Hello all...I have two questions on what's allowed in this forum...can we mention other ppl's forums? Like let's say someone is looking to spread some pr0n around...they say something like "Anyone have a place for me to upload my pr0n so all you other ppl can see it?"...and I say something like "Why don't you go to (insert ed2k site here) and spread your pr0n that way"...There are lots of sites that I could refer ppl to if s/he needs help with something...I was just wonderin if I can mention the sites...I know some forums don't like you to even mention other ppl's forums or personal websites

The other question is...ummmm...well I can't remember cause my dad called me down and said that dinner was ready and now that I come back up here to finish my post I can't remember what it was...I'll edit this space when I remember what it was...

the long answer:

let's just say i go to the local mcdonald's and start shouting, "gee, i could really go for a whopper right now. anybody else feel like a whopper? i'll bet you could get a whopper at burger king!"

that's just rude. plugging another board is like promoting a competitor in a store.

as far as your idea of pointing people in different directions for different needs, i'd like to think we're pretty self-suficient here, and have forums that cover a very very wide range of topics. if someone has a need of news, information, artistic outlet, advice, a kick in the right direction, or just some self-induced relaxation, we've got it. there's no need to go outside.

if you don't feel comfortable with that answer, then perhaps it's time to move on to another forum. we're quite happy with what we have going on here. we don't need a stranger to come in and tell us we're doing it all wrong and are running outdated software to do it (yes, that is a reference to your other thread).
