Tilted Pets

Perhaps that should be one of the folders here....

I was about to say I have a new fishtank, what should I populate it with but it doesnt really seem to fit anywhere and I see we have no Tilted Pets folder......

Perhaps that could become the next one...

Any Opinions?

moved to tilted suggestions.

it was touched on here but I believe it was eventually discussed as not worth expanding to at the moment.

Just wanted to bump this back up to the surface for a bit to see if there was any renewed interest. I have a new puppy on the way and plenty of questions to go along with and was hoping we could give this Tilted Pets thing anyother shot. :)

I think pets would be a great idea and give my vote of approval (not quite sure if I even get a vote of approval but I am casting one)

my cat, Oswald J. Kittypuss (Ozzy) is sitting on my desk next to me and has been staring at me for the last twenty minutes.
I like the idea of a pets folder. I think he does too.

I often ponder the best location to post my current pet issues. Those who are not fond of pets would probably suggest Tilted Nonsense. As I invest quite a bit of my time, energy, love and income in perpetuating the well-being of my loyal toe-cozies, the nonsense idea has been crumpled and batted. I have also considered posting in Tilted Parenting. Can you imagine the moans and groans racing from the fingertips of the perpetuators of the human species if I dared to nestle a rabies vaccination issue against a thread discussing the pros and cons of pink or blue.....? I hope the ones who happen to read this do read it with the humor with which I intended. With this I post my suggestion for.....Tilted Toe Cozies......a.k.a......Tilted Pets.

I run into the same problem, too... where should I post my pet questions? I think for the most part I see them in General Discussion where they receive a few replies and then get submerged.

I think pet stuff would best be put in either the member's playground or Tilted Living.

Past that, I don't think there's enough to fill a forum. Usually a forum is created because there is a growing trend of similar threads that all seem to revolve around a central idea or topic. We see this trend as a possible need to give these threads a place to call their own. I don't think there are enough pet threads to get to that point yet.

Or maybe How-To, if it's a...well, "how-to" question...
I like to talk about pets, but I'm not sure I could fill a whole forum...

I also would like a section on pets. It would be a convenient place for me to look at what other people have for pets.

I always wondered why there was not a forum of tilted pets, as our pets are special and well . . .. tilted :) i would actively participate in this forum if it were made available, it's just as important as 'the Titty board' . . . :)

that's my two cents

i have a fishtank.. i keep a catfish, chinese algae eater, goldfish, and turtle in it.

the chinese algae eater i bought because it looked cool but after some research i found it might harass the other fish so i kinda wish i didnt have it but, i'm stuck with it. i'd feel bad if i gave it away and the other owner didn't take good care of it.

i have the catfish because its a bottom feeder fish and helps to keep the tank floor clean. the turtle creates a big mess when its eating.

the turtle i got from my roomate. she actually bought it for her 10 yr old cousin but her mom wouldn't let her keep it, so i kept it.

i originally started out with just a turtle but the tank looked empty so i gradually added fish. i keep live plants in the tank because it looks much better than plastic plants.

i bought 3 different kinds of plants, i think i spent about $12 total. i have two bunch plants and one sword. the tank looks awesome with live plants. i will never again use fake plants.

----------

i also have a 8 month old chiwawa-yorkie mix. :)
i love her to death. she's the best dog an owner can ask for.

i dont have any pix online of either (tank or dog) but when i get some, i'll post them.
