An Official Poll
 

After the main server is back up, it might be nice to have an official poll, considering that forum is pretty useless without anything in it....

Ha! I once dreamed about this. Being above the law...daring the odds and posting in the TFP Poll forum. But I stopped and thought and I really thought, What the hell could I ever say that would be worthy of a TFP Poll that affects the entire TFP? I mean this has to REALLY affect TFP.

So I leave you with that thought.

And, I'm pretty sure it's been configured that only admins/mods can post in there, even though there's a "new thread" button. ;)

I dont think you have permissions to do so even if u wanted to ;)

doesn't have to affect the entire TFP, make it one week one subject. easy enought, imo, sounds like a good idea

I'd guess that the problem with having regular polls in the poll section (as opposed to gen. discussion) would be that, if there were ever a need for an all-TFP poll on something important, fewer people would notice the urgency and respond to it.

Exactly...however, you could just PM everyone....I assume admins can do that...

I kind of like the fact that nothing has ever appeared in that forum. Its probably the only virginal thing on TFP. :)

it alwayes amuses me that the work to make that forum was put forth, and it's never used.
