Did I lose a thread to suggest a board?
Maybe I'm going crazy, but I could have SWORN there was a thread in this board regarding the suggestion of a Tilted Pets board that I contributed to, and now I can't find it. Was it deleted? Did I dream the whole thing?

You didn't dream it.
There was a thread. It was accidental deleted by some idiot who should not try and work the board before he has had his coffee. He also managed to delete MeanSpleens thread on how to go about making suggestions for new forums. Don't ask how he managed something so moronic. It could only be explained by gross stupidity. This is the same guy who managed to wipe out the original 'Introduce yourself' thread back on V3 so it's no big surprise. |
Thanks, Red, for confirming that I'm not insane. At least not 100% of the time.

Only the two.
I try to keep my mistakes as small as possible and only once a year. |
That's alright. Mistakes always happen. ;)
But couldn't we learn a lesson from this and by "default" have all deleted threads (not posts; you could include them) fall into the Testing Board? Quick recovery; no muss, no fuss! |
LOL damn red, MORE COFFEE STAT! ;)

:) It takes a big man to admit his mistakes! On a side note.....I really like quadro's idea of "Titled Pets". |
i wish i could say i only make mistakes "once a year" ;)
and quadro, i remember your tilted pets thread. i posted then that i thought it was a good idea. |

all vB boards have that. You can choose to make a thread invisible and only smods (super mods) and admins can read them and validate them so they can be viewed and posted in again. I've used it several times at other forums so I can remove the offending thread but keep the evidence for the admin to see why I removed it. |
Don't be so hard on yourself. I seem to remember splattering thanksgiving dinner all over the floor when I was a kid. Shit happens. Move on.
