Can someone please turn of the [img*] code so I can have an image in my sig?

Ummmm somehow I don't think they're going to do it just for you :p

1. MrFlux is right.
2. There are good reasons for no pic sigs.
3. Wrong Forum (Tilted Suggestions would be the proper one. but it's still imo a silly question that seems to have had no 'pre-thought'.)

1) You didn't even post this is the right section - so I moved it to Tilted Suggestions for you.

2) This may come as a shock to you, but the world doesn't revolve around you. If you expect us to alter the way an entire website is run just to make you happy, you may want to find a different place to spend your time because you won't find that here.

and 3) There's a reason images aren't allowed in sigs or else we wouldn't have turned it off in the first place. So, the answer to your "request" would be no.

Yup, it's just meant to keep the page loading quicker for everyone. Could you imaging one to the threads with tons of replies having all of the images load? Damn, that'd take forever for people on dial-up.

Jesus H, he just asked a question. I wondered why I couldn't have an image in mine as well when I first joined, but a forum this big simply wouldn't work with it. That doesn't mean he deserves to get his head bitten off for asking, though.

All that was needed to be done was a search to find the answer here.
Not just to ask for someone to remove the code - nobody else has an image in the sig, what makes this case so special?

And I assume that every single person that joins TFP instantly knows about the search thread feature and that no images in the signature are standard? He joined VERY shortly before he posted that. I'm not saying you should obey his requests, but it could have been answered a bit nicer.

That is understandable, but since 2thumbsup's WWW link is another forum I would assume that the Search button is known of.
Over 2 months on the TFP and no one else has posted an image in the signature. It would be a pretty good guess that they are not available.
