Remote avatar linkage?
I have an avatar, and would like to, instead of uploading it to TFP, remotely link to an image which I host on my website. This currently isn't possible, but I think would be a nice option to reduce bandwidth a little.
Any possibility of this option emerging? |
the problem with that lies in too many people who link to pictures that aren't theirs or are on dodgy servers. we are doing okay as far as bandwidth is concerned, and hosting them ourselves allows us to moderate them when necessary and restrict their sizes. we are happy with how it is, so we're not looking to change it.
