Reincluding Nonsense Threads in "New Posts" Searches (Poll Added)
Can we have Nonsense threads available to the "New Posts" search again?
|
I agree with you on this and have been trying to get it done as well.
In my mind, it is easy to dismiss Nonesense as "just nonesense". The fact is, I made just as many TFPfriends there as I have in any of the other parts of TFP that I frequent. Yes, it isn't scintillating discussion BUT it is a part of the board where a ton of creativity comes to reside. There is more life and imagination and just good old fashioned play going on there... and in my mind, that's a good thing. Aw, shit... channeling Martha Stewart again... I think it was an honest mistake that was made in excluding Nonsense from the "New Post" search. We know you are truly sorry and you repent. Don't make us come after you armed only with a non-sequitor and a kumquat... it won't be pretty. Thanks. |
Another vote/request.

A vote for not including it...
|
I just want to be contrarian... I don't use it so I vote no.
:D |
Hal has a game going on in Nonsense. I vote yes.

I vote yes.
Maybe you should have made it a poll, fresnelly? |

I see it as an area for positive social interaction between all members. It provides an alternative to Chat, Trampoline and Member's Playground where some can't or would rather not go. I hardly go in there anymore because thread updates don't appear in new searches. Obviously I could force myself to check it out manually, but given that a number of its longer running threads, such as "interview the person below you", have slowed down considerably, I'm not alone in my habits. Hal's game was three pages on before I found it and I doubt I'll take part. |
Nw with votey goodness.

I just realized that since it doesn't appear in new posts, I haven't been in there in ages. So I vote Yes please!
