Brazil's Picuruta Salazar rides the 'Pororoca,' a wave which flows upstream and reaches a height of four meters on the Amazon in Brazil. The wave happens every year, between February and March, when the ocean whips back on the Amazon and creates a giant swell that flows upstream for hundreds of miles. Salazar rode the wave for 37 minutes through the rainforest, setting a new record. |
